Crane Grab Recovery & Well Sinking

Our Work

The marine construction team was contracted to recover the de-silting crane's grab from the well and report the underwater obstruction not allowing them to sink the well.

Result

The crane's grab was recovered within 4 hrs. The sinking well shoe was checked and underwater repairs were carried out to the damage. After final report from divers, de-silting & well sinking was resumed by the client. There were no further delays reported.

U/w Pipeline laying across the channel (with IRS Classification Surveyor)

Our Work

The client made 2 unsuccessful attempts before contracting Sealord.

The marine construction team was mobilized on site. The team inspected the site and approved the same. The fabrication team started welding the pipes one by one. Once the entire length of 345 mtr. was welded onshore, the pipeline was ready for launch. The IRS Surveyors carried out NDT Tests on each joint & weld and gave satisfactory approval. The pipeline was pulled with tugboats towards seaside and laid across the navigational channel of Paradip Port without much disturbance to the in & out port traffic.

Result

The testing & commissioning of 900 MM DIA Steel Pipe was successfully completed by Sealord in the presence of IRS Surveyors with Client's representatives on site. Work Completion Certificate & NOC were issued to Sealord by the Client.
